Few corner of Kindle DX
Amazon Kindle has announced its new DX earlier this year and they have begun shipping the item in June. This new version has some additional features that its predecessor is released nearly two years.
Larger screen & Thinner
To begin the DX Kindle has a larger screen which is made from a E-Ink screen. This distinguishes the playback screen to say, a computer or an iPod touch. This device is extremely thin and thicker than your ordinary magazine. However, do not be fooled by the size, because you can store more books and documents in this slim frame.
Native PDF Reader
Unlike the earlier version, you no longer have to worry about converting your Portable Document Format (PDF) documents before you can download and read. It comes with native support for PDF reader that is already installed, so you just upload your documents and can easily read.
Rotating Display
Another interesting feature they have added to that I like the display is rotated. You know the same functionality as Apple on its iPod touch and iPhone where if you rotate the screen display rotates too much and in fact you can see your documents in a broader resolution when the camera is on the side.
Now, their characteristics that they throw in there that are still primitive in nature. For example, they include a Web browser that requires more work on this. Also the text of speech function is included, but I also think it requires some more work. The price may seem a little steep for the lay reader Avid book. However, for business people, professionals and academics from DX Kindle may be a better option compared to other versions.
